How It Works
Did you know that as a private individual, you can get up to 50% in RUT deductions on our services? Starting July 1, 2024, individuals aged 18-64 can deduct up to SEK 75,000 annually, provided you have enough tax liability to offset the deduction.
The payment date affects your tax reduction: for payments made before July 1, 2024, the maximum RUT deduction is SEK 50,000, while later payments are based on the new limit. Note that this impacts your preliminary tax assessment for the following year.
Applying for the RUT Deduction for Household Services
A common misconception is that customers need to apply for the RUT deduction themselves. In fact, the company you hire handles this for you, meaning you don’t need to fill out any forms or submit applications to take advantage of the RUT deduction.
When you choose an authorized cleaning company, the company applies for the RUT deduction on your invoice. This reduces the cost of the service by up to 50%, and you only pay the remaining amount.
